Hanes Supply, Inc. is hiring for a Counter/Inside Sales Associate in Syracuse.

You will provide seamless customer service by phone and email in a fast-paced environment, handling quotes, orders and pricing details while coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of customer service or sales experience; familiarity with rigging, industrial, or construction supplies is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must actively listen and respond to customers’ needs to help them purchase the right product.
• Must have basic math skills and convey information effectively.
• Previous customer service and working knowledge of sales and inventory systems are highly desired; knowledge of rigging/industrial supplies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety procedures and regulations while performing job duties.
• Receive calls, emails, and faxes from customers to discuss product requirements and offer solutions.
• Process quotes and orders and relay pricing and delivery information to customers professionally.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist Counter Sales Associates with walk-in customers and stock, and support Outside Sales staff as needed.
