Job summary

Hanes Supply, Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a part-time Warehouse Worker to receive, store and distribute material in a fast-paced environment. The role requires operating material handling equipment, pulling orders accurately, and supporting inventory processes.

You will maintain a safe, organized workspace, assist with cycle counts, and help customers and sales teams as needed. The position is in-person only with comprehensive benefits after hire.

Qualifications

• Must have material moving equipment and forklift operating experience.
• Must possess basic math skills, computer skills and the ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Must have a valid, unexpired driver's license.
• Must be self-motivated with effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Pulls orders and transfers with 100% accuracy.
• Properly stacks and packs merchandise into bins and onto pallets; verifies and closes the shipment using RF equipment and updates computer system.
• Operates standard materials handling equipment including forklifts, reach lifts, and pallet jacks.
• Maintains a clean and organized working environment; ensures workspace is hazard free.
• Courteously answers warehouse phones with stock unit numbers, part numbers, locations, and quantities.
• Participates in cycle counts and physical inventory as needed.
• Loads and unloads products as requested.
