Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking a customer-focused team member to promote automotive parts sales and deliver excellent service to customers at our location. You will answer questions about parts, pricing, warranties, and delivery times while processing orders and ensuring accuracy in invoicing and returns.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year of related experience, basic math and computer skills, and bilingual English/Spanish communication to support diverse customer needs and build lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year of related experience.
• Preferred automotive parts knowledge.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Basic computer skills and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales of company products and provide customer service.
• Provide information on warranties, pricing, and delivery times.
• Process orders with accuracy including invoices and returns.
• Inform customers of order status, substitutions, and payment options.
• Follow up with customers and develop new business relationships.
• Support other duties as assigned.

Apply now and take the first step toward a rewarding career!Responsible for generating revenue by promoting sales of new and existing company products, providing customer service, evaluating customer needs, and answering questions regarding parts, pricing, and services.Essential Job DutiesProvide relevant information on warranties, price, quality of parts, delivery times, and payment methods.Complete internal documents supporting any transaction (credits, invoices, work order and/or interchange and returns, etc.).Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to cultivate new business.Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.Advise customers on substitution or modification of part when part requested is not available.Process orders – perform order entry, review orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data (may dispatch orders in some locations).Follow-up with customers as needed.Assume other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNot responsible for supervising employees.Minimum RequirementsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma/GED1+ years of related experience requiredPreferred RequirementsCollege coursework or degree.Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts.Bilingual English/Spanish.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.Basic computer skills.Basic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records. May expain and offer guidance on routine procedures.Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.Decisions generally affect own job or assigned functional area.Results are defined; sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.Prioritize assigned and routine tasks.
