Job summary

A Hiring Company is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to develop and maintain customer relationships for plumbing, PVF, mechanical and construction products. The role coordinates with contractors, municipalities, and branch operations to ensure accurate product selection and timely delivery.

You will generate quotations, process orders, and maintain CRM records while identifying cross-sell opportunities to grow revenue. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor degree preferred.
• 2+ years inside sales, customer service, or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience with plumbing, PVF, industrial, waterworks, or construction products strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound sales inquiries and proactively develop customer relationships.
• Prepare accurate quotes, bids, pricing proposals, and product recommendations.
• Process customer orders and coordinate fulfillment with warehouse and operations teams.
• Maintain knowledge of PVF, plumbing, mechanical, waterworks, and construction products.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue and gross margin.
• Follow up on quotations and open opportunities to convert business.
• Resolve customer concerns regarding pricing, product availability, deliveries, and returns.
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives and branch leadership to drive growth.
• Maintain CRM and sales records with accurate customer and opportunity information.
