Job summary

ASGCO Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager / Inside Sales Representative for our Maryland team. The role blends inside sales, customer service, and branch operations to keep the branch running smoothly and grow sales.

You will work with the Branch Manager, outside sales, service personnel, and warehouse to coordinate orders, quotes, and deliveries in a fast-paced industrial setting. A strong customer focus and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inside sales, industrial sales, customer service, or branch operations experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial equipment.
• Ability to prepare accurate quotes and process orders with attention to detail.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions about ASGCO products, pricing, availability, and delivery.
• Prepare accurate quotes and process orders for conveyor components and services.
• Enter and follow up on quotes, orders, and backorders.
• Support outside sales with quotes, pricing, and order status.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales and build repeat business.
• Assist Branch Manager with day-to-day operations and scheduling.
• Coordinate priorities between sales, service, warehouse, and admin staff.
• Monitor inventory and help ensure on-time commitments.
