Job summary

Turtle is hiring an Inside/Counter sales Associate in Riverhead, NY. You will generate sales, provide product support, and maintain strong customer relationships with electrical contractors, industrial clients, and commercial buyers.

You’ll quote products, process orders, and collaborate with outside sales teams to drive revenue. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, delivering price quotations, assisting with product selection, processing orders, and providing technical guidance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience required.
• Ability to negotiate and be persuasive.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Work independently and within a team.
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding various products and solutions.
• Prepare and deliver price quotations, bids, and proposals.
• Assist customers with product selection, availability, and alternatives.
• Process sales orders, returns, and product exchanges.
• Provide technical product guidance on electrical equipment, components, and systems.
• Maintain and grow relationships with electrical contractors, OEMs, and industrial clients.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Support outside sales representatives by managing accounts and identifying upselling opportunities.
• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service at the sales counter.
• Stay updated on new electrical products, codes, and industry trends.
