POOLCORP in Birmingham, AL seeks an Inside Sales Associate to assist customers at the counter and over the phone, process orders, and recommend solutions. You will support showroom and basic warehouse tasks while building strong customer relationships in a fast-paced team.

The role requires a friendly, service-oriented attitude, 18+ years old, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Prior inside sales is a plus. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent customer service attitude and comfortable interacting directly with customers.
• Strong computer skills, including basic computer systems and MS Office.
• Ability to safely move products weighing up to 100 lbs. using equipment like a dolly.
• Preferred: 1+ years of inside sales experience and familiarity with pool supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and phone customers with product questions, orders, and service needs.
• Enter sales orders accurately, generate invoices, and process payments per policy.
• Recommend products based on customer needs and stock availability.
• Determine disposition of warranty items per manufacturer policy and customer needs.
• Provide estimated delivery dates based on vendor production and schedules.
• Pull and stage customer orders and use an RF scanner when needed.
• Restock showroom merchandise and support warehouse duties as required.
