Job summary

Affiliated Parts in Elmhurst is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to contact customers by phone and email, generate quotes, and process orders. You will report to the Sales Manager and work with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of HVAC parts.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in inside sales or customer service, strong communication, and the ability to learn multiple computer applications.

Responsibilities

Role:

We are currently seeking the right individual to fill a need for an Inside Sales Associate in our Elmhurst location. This position is responsible for interacting with customers through phone and email, creating quotes, and processing orders. As the Inside Sales Associate, you will report to the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing customer support via phone and email to assist new and existing customers with their requests in a timely manner
• Create quotes via our order entry system to send to customers efficiently
• Manage customer orders via the order entry System to ensure efficient delivery of products
• Work closely with other members of the sales team, as well as coordinating with the operations team
• Learn and become proficient in HVAC equipment nomenclature and parts identification

Requirements:

• Great customer service and communication skills
• 1-3 years of inside sales/customer service experience a plus
• Degree in business, communication, engineering, or related field a plus
• Demonstrate active listening skills to add value to customer and internal interactions.
• Ability to learn and manage several different computer applications

Estimated Salary:

$50k-55k/yr. with flexibility based on experience and skills.
