What You’ll Do
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, growing existing customer relationships, and promoting Gilson's portfolio of laboratory products and solutions through phone, email, virtual meetings, and social selling platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets through proactive outreach and account development.
- Prospect and engage new customers while expanding relationships with existing accounts.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline within assigned territories and accounts.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
- Conduct outbound sales calls, virtual meetings, and email campaigns to generate opportunities.
- Leverage LinkedIn and other social selling platforms to identify prospects and increase market awareness.
- Create quotations and recommend pricing solutions aligned with company guidelines.
- Track and document customer interactions, leads, opportunities, and activities within Salesforce/CRM.
- Collaborate closely with field sales representatives and cross-functional teams.
- Support marketing campaigns and special sales initiatives.
- Research competitor offerings, industry trends, and market opportunities.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and follow up on sales leads in a timely manner.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and stay current on Gilson technologies and applications.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in outbound sales with measurable sales targets and performance goals.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and active listening skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Confident and professional phone presence.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience within the life sciences, laboratory, biotechnology, diagnostics, or scientific equipment industry.
- Experience working in a laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of laboratory workflows and scientific applications.
- Hands-on experience using pipettes or other laboratory equipment.
- Training or educational background in life sciences.

- Approximately 10% overnight travel may be required.
