Job summary

The Macomb Group, a leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is seeking a full-time inside sales representative with mechanical and industrial piping experience to prepare quotations and handle inside and counter sales at our Grand Rapids, MI location.

Responsibilities include answering phones, taking orders, providing order status, and preparing quotations; candidates should have strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both is preferred.
• Demonstrate trade experience and knowledge of mechanical and industrial piping applications.
• Able to project professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Motivated team player who takes initiative.
