The Macomb Group, a leading distributor in the Midwest for pipe, valve, and fittings, is seeking a full‑time inside sales representative with mechanical and industrial piping experience, based in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and take customer orders over the phone.
• Provide status updates on previous orders.
• Prepare quotations and bids.
• Perform computer data entry and coordinate sales orders.
• Purchase non‑stock items and backorders.
• Deliver professional customer service to customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• One or two years of related experience or training (preferred).
• Demonstrate trade experience and knowledge of mechanical and industrial piping applications.
• Project professionalism in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Motivated team player who takes initiative.

Work Setting

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana.
Monday – Friday, day shift.
