Job summary

The Macomb Group in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a full-time inside sales representative with mechanical and industrial piping experience to handle quotations and inside and counter sales responsibilities.

You will answer phones, take orders, prepare bids, and coordinate sales orders while delivering professional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training or equivalent combination preferred.
• Trade experience and knowledge of mechanical and industrial piping applications.
• Able to project professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Motivated team player who takes initiative.

We are looking for a full-time inside sales representative with mechanical and industrial piping experience to prepare quotations and handle inside and counter sales responsibilities at our Grand Rapids, MI location. Responsibilities

• Responsible for answering phones
• Taking orders from customers over the phone
• Giving status of previous order
• Preparing quotations and bids
• Computer entry
• Purchasing of non-stock items and backorders
• Coordination of sales orders
• Provide professional customer service to customers

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One or two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both is preferred
• Demonstrate trade experience and knowledge of mechanical and industrial piping applications
• Able to project professionalism in a fast-paced environment
