Job summary

Weekes Forest Products, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Support team member to bridge our outside sales team and customers, ensuring accurate order processing and excellent service. You will communicate product features, benefits, and pricing while maintaining strong relationships.

The role supports daily sales operations, handling quotes and claims promptly, utilizing Agility, and upholding our ownership culture as a 100% employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of inside sales, customer service and/or marketing experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Prior inside sales and customer service experience preferred in building materials or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily sales operations of a building materials distribution center.
• Work with customers and co-workers to build solid relationships based on trust and competence.
• Able to handle detailed work quickly and correctly.
• Support a fast-paced environment with multiple projects going simultaneously.
• Utilize the DMSi software Agility, for order entry, purchasing entry, and customer information.
• Follow established guidelines, structure, and policies, while working with and for others
• Maintain customer pricing records.
• Accurate order entry
• Follow up all quotes and handle customer service claims in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

As an Inside Sales Support team member, you will be the enthusiastic connector between our outside sales team and our valued customers. Qualifications:

• Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Prior inside sales and customer service experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with inside sales, customer service and/or marketing disciplines.
• Industry experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift and carry office supplies, documents, and small packages up to 20 pounds. Occasionally, heavier lifting may be required.
• Occasional travel could be required.
