Job summary

Capco Crane & Hoist, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in East Hazel Crest, IL. You will identify, develop, and grow sales opportunities within the Rigging business from new and existing customers through phone and email communication, as well as walk-in customers.

You will respond to inquiries, prepare quotes and process orders for rigging equipment, provide technical support, and help maintain accurate records while building strong customer and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Rigging Industry Experience—Preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and/or sales background.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person counter sales (as needed).
• Prepare quotes and process sales orders for rigging equipment (e.g., wire rope, shackles, hoists, slings, chain).
• Provide product recommendations and technical support based on customer needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, pricing, and industry standards.
• Support outside sales reps by preparing quotes, managing follow-ups, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
• Build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Stay current on safety standards, certifications, and rigging best practice.
