Job summary

Eckart LLC in Cincinnati is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help customers by understanding their needs and guiding them through a smooth sales process. You will respond to inquiries, process orders, upsell products, and maintain strong customer relationships while learning our product lines to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience (counter, inside, or outside) required.
• Electrical knowledge or courses preferred; asset if present.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and process incoming calls and orders.
• Contact current customers and identify new products and potential up-selling.
• Enter orders into the system.
• Source materials for customers when currently not in stock.
• Maintain knowledge base on current products and learning about new products.
• Provide product information, pricing quotations, and follow-up on quotes.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries, and overall service.
• Support Counter Sales and handle returns as required.
• Work closely with others to ensure customer needs are met.
• Other duties as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position may be required to perform additional tasks, responsibilities, or duties as assigned:

• Post-Secondary courses in Electrical preferred
• Skilled in serving and negotiating with institutional and industrial purchasers, electrical contractors, and the public
• Knowledge of the electrical industry or a background in electrical products would be considered an asset, including - lighting, wiring devices, distribution, and motor control
