Eckart LLC in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help customers understand their needs and drive orders through a smooth process.

You will respond to inquiries, quote pricing, enter orders, and build lasting relationships while growing with a family-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years’ sales experience (counter/inside/outside) required.
• Post-secondary courses in Electrical preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical industry/products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and process incoming calls and orders.
• Contact current customers and identify new products and upsell opportunities.
• Enter orders into the system accurately.
• Sourcing materials when not in stock.
• Maintain knowledge base on current and new products.
• Provide product information, pricing, and quotes follow-up.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with orders, pricing, deliveries, and service.
• Support counter sales and handle returns as needed.
• Collaborate with others to meet customer needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position may be required to perform additional tasks, responsibilities, or duties as assigned:

• Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
• Contacting current customers and identifying new products and potential up-selling
• Entering orders into the system
• Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
• Maintaining knowledge base on current products and learning about new products
• Providing product information, pricing quotations, and follow-up on quotes
• Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
• Ensuring that customers are satisfied with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries, and overall service
• Supporting Counter Sales and handling returns as required
• Working closely with others to ensure customer needs are met
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two years’ sales experience (counter sales, inside sales or outside sales) required
• Post-Secondary courses in Electrical preferred
• Skilled in serving and negotiating with institutional and industrial purchasers, electrical contractors, and the public
• Knowledge of the electrical industry or a background in electrical products would be considered an asset, including - lighting, wiring devices, distribution, and motor control
