Eckart LLC is seeking an Inside Sales Associate in Kentucky to engage customers, understand needs, and drive sales. You will process orders, source alternatives, and provide quotes while building lasting relationships with clients.

The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork in a family-oriented environment with opportunities for growth and benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of sales experience in counter, inside, or outside sales.
• Post-secondary courses in Electrical preferred; knowledge of electrical products is a plus.
• Experience negotiating with institutional and industrial purchasers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and process incoming calls and orders.
• Contact current customers and identify new products and upsell opportunities.
• Enter orders into the system and maintain accuracy.
• Source materials for customers when not in stock.
• Provide product information, pricing quotations, and follow up on quotes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position may be required to perform additional tasks, responsibilities, or duties as assigned:

• Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
• Contacting current customers and identifying new products and potential up-selling
• Entering orders into the system
• Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
• Maintaining knowledge base on current products and learning about new products
• Providing product information, pricing quotations, and follow-up on quotes
• Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
• Ensuring that customers are satisfied with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries, and overall service
• Supporting Counter Sales and handling returns as requiredWorking closely with others to ensure customer needs are met
• Other duties as assigned

• Post-Secondary courses in Electrical preferred
• Skilled in serving and negotiating with institutional and industrial purchasers, electrical contractors, and the public
• Knowledge of the electrical industry or a background in electrical products would be considered an asset, including - lighting, wiring devices, distribution, and motor control
