Job summary

RT Specialty, LLC in Metairie, LA (New Orleans area) is seeking an Inside Broker to support a middle-market property book. You will partner with a Property Broker and coordinate with retail agents, carriers, and internal teams to analyze risks, secure quotations, and drive placement from submission through binding.

The ideal candidate has a P&C license, 3+ years in wholesale property brokerage, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work on-site with potential hybrid post-training.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required or Surplus Lines license.
• 3+ years of wholesale insurance brokerage experience in commercial property.
• Strong knowledge of property coverages and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a middle-market property book of business with a Broker.
• Review submissions, identify exposures, and secure quotations from carriers.
• Negotiate terms and pricing; maintain carrier relationships and client service.
• Support account lifecycle and ensure accurate documentation in systems.
