Job summary

Hunter Truck in Scranton, PA is hiring a Parts Inside Sales Associate to drive parts sales with assigned accounts and grow the customer base. You will handle inquiries, coordinate orders, and ensure timely delivery.

The role requires strong communication, 5+ years in parts/sales, and a valid license. Training and team support are provided as part of a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Five years of related experience and/or training or equivalent
• Basic computer knowledge required
• ASE Certifications preferred
• Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification preferred
• Valid Driver's License required

Responsibilities

• Solicit parts business from assigned accounts and prospect new customers by phone and in person
• Assist customers at the front parts counter with inquiries and orders
• Communicate parts orders to Inventory Control and confirm stock vs. emergency status
• Confirm delivery dates for non-stock items before ordering
• Coordinate delivery and shipping with Warehouse Coordinator
• Maintain accurate customer records and perform quarterly inventory counts
• Support Outside Sales and provide backup when needed
• Attend training seminars and meetings and uphold health and safety policies
