JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary

The Inside Partner Manager will work closely with Regional Field Partner Managers covering the Americas region. The role involves managing assigned partners and other regional partners at all levels to recruit, retain, enable, and empower them to sell SailPoint through various sales and marketing activities.

The manager will oversee the relationship management of the SailPoint Partner community in the region, including updating partners on SailPoint events and developments, ensuring SailPoint remains their platform of choice.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  1. Manage a high volume of inbound inquiries via calls and emails.
  2. Coordinate sales activities with partners, consultants, and resellers.
  3. Maintain and strengthen relationships within the partner community.
  4. Referral Approvals and Fees: Work with non-partner referral agreements to ensure proper documentation and approvals, and manage the process for non-partner fees.
  5. Manage deal registration queue: Monitor inbound deal registrations, ensure proper assignment or closure, and resolve issues with opportunities.
  6. Field Sales Alignment with Non-Focused Partners: Identify partner status, qualifications, certifications, and enablement strategies.
  7. Provide AWS Support: Collaborate with Field and Partner Managers to update ACE/APN Portal registrations and alignments.
  8. Demand Generation Event Planning: Work with Partner Managers to organize field marketing events.
  9. Deliver SailPoint Overview Presentations: Present SailPoint overviews to non-focus partners to raise awareness.
  10. Monitor and Respond to Partner Sales Alias: Address partner inquiries promptly.
  11. Access to Partner Resources: Inform partners about available resources like Highspot and facilitate access requests for deal registrations.
  12. Collections: Follow up with delinquent partners on payments as requested by SailPoint finance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience selling enterprise software preferred.
  • Strong account management and nurturing skills.
  • Experience working with Channel Partners in the Enterprise Software space preferred.
  • Experience in training and enabling Channel Partners (VARs), via in-person or virtual platforms.
  • Eager to learn and share best practices.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in electronic correspondence and basic business research tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
  • Adaptability to changing roles and responsibilities.
