American First Finance is looking for an Inside Merchant Growth Specialist (IMGS) to drive same-store sales growth and manage remote merchant relationships. The specialist will coach merchants, monitor trends, and ensure consistent engagement through outbound calls.

The ideal candidate will have a background in inside sales with a strong work ethic and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a crucial role in increasing program utilization and growing revenue.

About the Role

The Inside Merchant Growth Specialist drives same‑store sales growth by managing remote merchant relationships, coaching utilization, and maintaining consistent outbound engagement. Success is measured by increased funding activity and predictable portfolio performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Grow funded volume within assigned merchant portfolio (minimum $25K MoM)
• Increase merchant utilization, reactivation, and retention
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchant partners
• Proactively identify and address performance or engagement gaps
• Coach merchants on sales strategies to increase financing adoption
• Monitor trends and intervene to sustain production growth
• Execute 65–75 daily outbound calls to drive engagement
• Maintain accurate CRM tracking and manage a prioritized pipeline

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven sales experience: At least one year of inside sales or phone sales experience.
• Consistent work history, verifiable on resume.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Computer literate and able to operate common office machines.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Bilingual applicants strongly encouraged.
