Job summary

Colonial Electric Supply in Dover, DE is seeking an inside sales professional with electrical sales experience to interview customers, determine product needs, and process orders for delivery. You will support branch operations, maintain relationships with customers, and help drive promotions while ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely shipments. Electrical sales preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Electrical sales experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Interviews customers to determine product needs and records data for delivery.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve order issues promptly.
• Solicit orders from regular and prospective customers by phone or in person.
• Describe or demonstrate products using samples or catalogs and emphasize key features.
• Prepare quotations, sales tickets, and ensure timely processing and delivery.
