Job summary

Builders FirstSource is hiring an Inside Counter Sales professional for our Anchorage, AK Millwork location. You will help customers select products, provide pricing and availability details, and guide them to the best solutions for decks, sheds, and other projects.

You will handle retail inquiries via in-person, phone, and email channels, promote products, prepare quotes, and coordinate orders and deliveries while supporting showroom and yard operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months of sales, retail, customer service, or related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers in person, by phone, and via email.
• Answer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, and returns/exchanges.
• Guide customers in selecting the best products and solutions for their needs.
• Build positive customer relationships through professional and responsive service.
• Actively promote and sell company products, services, and related solutions.
• Prepare material estimates and project quotes for smaller construction projects.
• Enter customer orders accurately into company systems and schedule deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized showroom/yard and support operations.
