Job summary

Darley seeks an Inside Account Manager to support Outside Sales in processing orders and identifying new opportunities within assigned territories. The role emphasizes relationship-building with customers and vendor partners, using Salesforce to manage the customer lifecycle.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in sales and customer service, along with knowledge of government contracting and tactical equipment. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; military/government experience may be substituted at hiring manager's discretion.
• 5 years of sales experience; 5 years of customer service experience.
• 5 years experience MS Office, particularly Excel & Outlook.
• 2 years experience with a Customer Relationship Management program.
• Knowledge of tactical equipment, military, or federal agencies.
• Knowledge of government contracts (TLS, OTA, COTS, FEDMALL, GSA, etc.).
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and its purpose.

Responsibilities

• Assist Outside Sales Reps through the full order process: quoting, order entry, customer service, expediting, follow-up.
• Build cross-functional relationships within Darley Defense to execute bookings and sales.
• Manage customer service requests and pipeline in Salesforce.
• Develop options and deliver solutions for customer situations.
• Conduct discovery calls to expand sales with Current Accounts.
