Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Keosauqua, IA is seeking an Account Representative to support customers, sales teams, and internal partners through the full front-end process.

You will translate customer requirements into actionable orders, prepare bids, configure products in internal systems, and coordinate with engineering, production, finance, and logistics to ensure timely delivery.

A bachelor’s degree or 5 years in account management, plus strong communication and MS Office skills, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business related field or 5 years’ experience in account management or inside sales.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer bid packages.
• Determine customer product needs such as upselling options, margins, costs.
• Configure complex products in internal software to provide quotations.
• Manage orders throughout the full sales cycle from quotes to installation.
• Responsible for price quotations and/or orders.
• Reconcile pricing discrepancies and confirm purchase orders.
• Liaise with internal Engineering, Product Management, Technical Support, Planning, and Production to determine feasibility.
• Provide order status updates to customers and dealers.
• Collaborate with all internal departments regarding orders, specifications, and opportunities.
