Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is hiring an Account Representative in Keosauqua, IA. You will support customers, sales teams, and internal groups, translating customer requirements into organizational demand and delivering outstanding service throughout the customer journey.

You’ll interact with engineering and production teams to confirm feasibility, manage quotes, orders, and updates, and help drive customer success in a complex product environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business related field or 5 years’ experience in account management or inside sales.
• 2 years’ experience in an OEM manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook and Excel).
• Basic HVAC/R knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer bid packages.
• Determine customer product needs and upsell options.
• Configure complex products in internal software to provide quotations.
• Manage orders through the full sales cycle from quotes to installation.
• Responsible for price quotations and/or orders.
• Reconcile pricing discrepancies to confirm purchase orders.
• Liaise with internal Engineering, Product Management, Technical Support, Planning, TAG, and Production.
• Collaborate with finance, shipping, and production to clear credit issues and maintain communication.
• Act as internal point of contact for account(s) incoming/outgoing conduit.
• Provide order status updates to external customers, regional sales managers, and dealers.
• Participate in customer visits to contribute to presentations and process clarification.
• Create and maintain work instructions and customer specification documents.
• Other duties as assigned.
