Job description

Responsibilities

  1. Manages sales activities of assigned accounts by performing the following duties:
  2. Engages in a high level of customer service through delivering quotation responses, handling customer discrepancies, receiving and maintaining customer orders while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
  3. Develops and sustains effective supplier and customer relationships to assure a competitive position in the marketplace.
  4. Works closely with the Territory Manager to maintain lists of prospects and potentially new accounts to grow new business and achieve established budget targets.
  5. Maximizes productivity by effectively planning, organizing and managing workload.
  6. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates.
  7. Communicates with Territory Manager to assist in developing sales campaigns to accommodate goals of assigned customers.

Qualifications:

  1. Undergraduate degree in marketing, business administration, or a finance-related field is preferred.
  2. 3-5 years of related metal industry sales experience preferred.
  3. Possess effective communication skills which include verbal and written.
  4. Must have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  5. Willingness to learn proprietary program known as Metalware.
  6. Displays effective use of time management skills.
  7. Knowledge of basic math skills is essential.
