Impactconnects is seeking an Inserter Operator II to support the Lettershop Production team. This entry-level to mid-level role requires setting up and operating inserting equipment accurately, overseeing quality and productivity, and assisting with training other operators.
The position runs 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, in Minneapolis, MN. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 2-3 years of inserting experience, with basic English communication and math skills

Hours: 6 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday
General purpose of Job: Effectively setup & run inserting equipment
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Performance Measurement: Performance feedback will take place both verbally and written on a day-to-day as needed basis, recognition in monthly employee recognition meetings, formal training on changes in SOP as needed with a formal review by the supervisor at least annually
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED; 2-3 years of progressive Inserting experience.
Language and Math Skills:
Ability to read and write at a basic English level. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other employees at a level necessary for the position. Ability to add & subtract two digit numbers and to multiply & divide with 10s & 100s.
Physical Demands:
Standing or walking most of the day, may climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, often lift up to 40 lbs and rarely up to 70 lbs. Constant use of hands and arms. Regularly reach with hands and arms, including reaching above shoulder level (Lifting/reaching above shoulder level would seldom be more than 5-10 pounds). Vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, & ability to focus.
Work Environment:
Work near moving mechanical parts, fumes & air borne particles, risk of electrical shock, and exposure to toxic chemicals. The noise level is moderate to loud.
