Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare in Mount Pleasant, SC seeks an Inpatient Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver exceptional nursing care to patients on our inpatient units.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, perform wound assessments, manage medications, and develop care plans to improve outcomes; EPIC training is preferred. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits; active RN license and BLS required; WOCN certification within 3 years of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association.
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN Wound or WWC Wound Care Certification) - required within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting, and assess patient condition.
• Assess, stage, photograph and measure wounds accurately and in accordance with policy.
• Evaluate, update and revise the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organization’s policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
