Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process.

You will collect data, identify priority patient needs, and coordinate care with the health team to achieve positive outcomes. In collaboration with the care team, you will assess patients, develop and implement plans, and evaluate treatment effectiveness while administering medications safely and teaching patients and families.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Diploma in nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current nursing license in state of practice is required.
• BLS certification required at hire for RSFH locations; required prior to independent patient care at BSMH.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and analyze data to plan care.
• Implement treatment plans and administer medications safely per state requirements and policies.
• Coordinate care across hospital departments and serve as primary care coordination contact for patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and advocate for patient safety.
• Incorporate the professional practice model into daily care delivery.
