Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Inpatient Wound Care at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital. The role is full time days with a 32-hour work week, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and no holidays.

You will assess wound status, coordinate with the care team, and implement care plans to improve patient outcomes in an acute setting. BLS and WOCN certification are required within 3 years of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• WOCN WWC/Wound Care Certification required within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Take and document vital signs, administer IV medications, and assess patient condition.
• Assess, stage, photograph, and measure wounds per policy.
• Evaluate and revise the plan of care to meet outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per policy and practice guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
