Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Inpatient Wound Care at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH. This PRN opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care with strong organization and leadership to assess patient status and implement interventions.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, active RN licensure, BLS, and a WOCN WWC/WOC certification within 3 years. Experience in acute and wound care is required; EPIC EHR training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure and BLS certification.
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN/WWC) required within 3 years of hire.
• Recent RN experience in acute care and wound care is required.
• Two years wound care experience preferred but not required.
• EPIC EHR training is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vitals, administer IV medications, document and assess patient condition.
• Assess, stage, photograph, and measure wounds per policy.
• Evaluate and revise the plan of care to meet outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
