Job summary

The University of Washington Department of Surgery, Division of Transplant Surgery, is recruiting for three full-time Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant positions as Teaching Associates. These roles support inpatient transplant care for liver, kidney, and pancreas patients with a 12-month service period and potential for renewal.

Positions require ARNP/PA licensure, NP/PA graduate degree, DEA, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN licensure for ARNP or PA-C.
• Graduate degree from an accredited NP/PA program.
• National certification (ARNP/PA) with DEA registration.
• Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care to transplant patients and donors across pre-, peri-, and post-transplant phases.
• Work with a dedicated transplant surgery team alongside surgeons, residents, and other APPs.
• Perform minor bedside procedures and wound management as needed.
