Job summary

Providence Medical Group in Spokane, Washington is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Liver & Pancreas Clinic and Transplant Surgery Program. The role involves inpatient rounding with some clinic duties, and collaboration with transplant and hepatobiliary surgeons on complex cases.

Two years of APP experience is preferred; new graduates with strong interest in specialty surgery are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Part-time weekend position (0.6 FTE).
• Weekend schedule: Friday through Sunday.
• Surgical experience preferred but not required.
• One to two years of APP experience preferred; new graduates may apply.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient hospital rounding with selected clinic responsibilities.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patients with transplant/hepatobiliary surgeons.
• Participate in complex specialty care including liver disease, pancreatic disorders, transplantation, and surgical oncology.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, specialists, nurses, dietitians and care coordinators.
