Copper Springs Behavioral Health is seeking an Inpatient Therapist PRN to provide essential psychotherapy and counseling to patients dealing with psychiatric and substance abuse issues in Avondale, Arizona. Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling and be state-licensed. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling or relevant licensure in state of practice.
• Current unencumbered state licensure per state requirements.
• CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
• Prior work with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide Psychotherapy and counseling therapies to patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Actively communicate with clients, families, and outside referral sources.
• Heavy involvement in treatment planning for patients.
• Ongoing collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
