RiverVista Behavioral Hospital in Columbus, OH, is seeking an Inpatient Therapist (LPC/LSW) to provide structured, evidence-based care to patients during acute settings. The role includes assessments, groups, discharge planning, and collaboration with day and night teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with state licensure (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LMFT).
• 1+ year inpatient or acute behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong group therapy and crisis intervention skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete therapy assessments and treatment plans within regulatory timeframes.
• Facilitate daily groups (CBT/DBT/psychoeducation), family sessions, and discharge planning.
• Coordinate aftercare with community providers; remove barriers to continuity.
• Document progress notes that reflect measurable goals and outcomes.
• Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
• Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.
