Job summary

Blueridge Vista Behavioral Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Therapist (LPC/LCSW/LMFT) for telehealth daytime hours. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy using CBT/DBT approaches and trauma-informed care to support patients beyond the hospital setting.

You will complete intake assessments, create treatment plans, document progress, and coordinate with PCPs, schools, courts, and community supports.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with state license (LPCC, LCSW, LISW, LMFT) is required.
• Experience with SUD, co-occurring disorders, or severe mental illness is preferred.
• Strong telehealth etiquette and documentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using CBT/DBT and trauma-informed approaches.
• Complete intake/diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Coordinate care with PCPs, schools, courts, and community supports as appropriate.
• Maintain a caseload with timely access and excellent patient experience.
• Ensure continuity of care overnight with vigilant observation and timely documentation.
• Manage after-hours admissions and urgent needs; hand off to the day team.
