Job summary

RiverVista Behavioral Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Therapist (LPC/LSW) to guide patients from crisis to stability at our Columbus, OH facility. You will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and run daily groups to support recovery.

This full-time role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and smooth discharge planning. Strong group therapy and crisis intervention skills are essential, along with dedicated documentation of progress toward measurable goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and state licensure in one of LPC/LPCC/LSW/LISW/LMFT.
• Minimum 1 year inpatient or acute behavioral health experience.
• Strong group therapy and crisis intervention skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete therapy assessments and treatment plans within regulatory timeframes.
• Facilitate daily groups (CBT/DBT/psychoeducation), family sessions, and discharge planning.
• Coordinate aftercare with community providers; remove barriers to continuity.
• Document progress notes reflecting measurable goals and outcomes.
• Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
• Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.
