Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice seeks an Inpatient Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift in a small-format hospital. You will assess patients, follow physician orders, and ensure privacy while adhering to infection control policies.

Required are an RN license with 2+ years in Telemetry/ICU, BLS/ACLS, and English fluency. Pennsylvania background clearances must be completed prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred).
• Current RN licensure without sanctions.
• At least 2 years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare roles.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred).
• Fluency in English, with strong communication skills.
• For Pennsylvania candidates, background clearances must be completed or obtained prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, and delivering age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Following physician orders and maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhering to infection control, aseptic techniques, and hospital policies.
• Collecting lab samples, performing tests, and managing patient admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
• Preparing equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures, assisting with treatments as needed.
• Completing quality assessments, attending meetings, and performing additional assigned duties.
