Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a pharmacist to support central operations and surgical services, including orthopedics, colorectal, and trauma units. You will cover units, coordinate care, monitor therapies, and address medication safety issues.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy
• Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation within 90 days of hire
• Immunizations certification or Board of Pharmacy course in immunizations completed within 90 days; ACLS/PALS within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Cover assigned units and service lines; coordinate pharmaceutical care.
• Monitor therapies and identify medication safety issues.
• Develop cost-effective pharmacotherapy plans; reconcile medications.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
• Precept APPE students and pharmacy residents; participate in projects.
• Represent pharmacy on committees and ensure regulatory compliance.
