Responsibilities

• Monitor, screen and verify drug orders for proper dosage, route, dosage form and administration schedule.
• Ensure expedited preparation and dispensing of all dosage forms by pharmacy personnel.
• Counsel patients regarding safe and proper use of their medications.
• Resolve drug therapy problems and clarify problematic orders.
