Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for acutely ill patients.
• Interact effectively with patients, families, and health team members.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Direct care and coordinate use of any assistants.
• Collaborate with patient, family, physicians, and staff to ensure outcomes.
• Participate in governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Document patient responses and adjust plans accordingly.
• Apply current evidence to guide nursing practice.
