Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide specialized speech and language rehabilitation. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and adjust approaches to improve communication outcomes.

The role emphasizes thorough documentation, ongoing progress tracking, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care at one of the nation’s leading inpatient rehabilitation providers.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or preferred.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred; Bachelor's with relevant experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy approaches as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Celebrate patient improvements and outcomes.
