Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a licensed therapist to evaluate and treat patients at JHHS - Jewish Hospital - UMC in Louisville, KY. The role involves developing and implementing treatment plans, coordinating with physicians, and planning discharge while maintaining high standards of care.

You will oversee therapy staff, manage documentation, and participate in quality improvement initiatives within a large academic health system. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or Doctorate level degree from accredited college or University (required)
• Experience varies based on practice setting and programmatic needs of the facility (required)
• Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or State of Indiana, as appropriate to the facility (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and implements competent therapy treatment and provides regular re-assessments for modification to maximize functional independence
• Communicates patient status to physicians and therapy customers with timely written or verbal updates
• Oversees rehab technicians, therapy assistants, and students consistent with discipline practice acts
• Ensures patient charges and clinical documentation comply with regulatory standards
