Job summary

Universal Health Services’ Fuller Hospital in South Attleboro, MA, seeks a Clinical Social Worker for its Developmental Disabilities Unit. This inpatient setting provides inpatient and partial hospitalization services to adults, adolescents, and co-occurring disorders in a dedicated unit.

The role focuses on comprehensive social work services, care coordination with external providers, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, counseling, or other human services related field.
• Required LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, or LHMC (OR eligibility to receive one of these licensures in the future)
• Prior Hospital social worker experience is preferred
• Experience and/or passion for working with a development disability patient population is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive range of social work services to a variety of patients in an inpatient/partial hospital setting
• Act as the primary contact with external providers and actively participate in each assigned patient’s treatment plan
• Be the primary individual responsible for patient discharge and aftercare planning

Education

Master’s Degree in Social Work or counseling or related field

Licensed social work licensure (LCSW/LICSW/LMFT/LHMC) or eligibility
