Job summary

Universal Health Services’ Fuller Hospital in South Attleboro, MA is seeking a Clinical Social Worker to join the inpatient multidisciplinary team on the Developmental Disabilities Unit. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, focusing on inpatient and partial hospital settings.

Responsibilities include providing a comprehensive range of social work services, coordinating discharge and aftercare planning, and serving as primary liaison with external providers.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, counseling, or related field.
• Licensed or eligible for LCSW/LICSW/LMFT/LHMC in the future.
• Experience in hospital social work preferred.

Clinical Social Worker Opportunity -

Fuller Hospital is a 109-bed licensed, private psychiatric facility located in South Attleboro, Massachusetts providing inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services to residents of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Inpatient units are designed to treat adults with general psychiatric or intellectual disabilities, as well as adolescents with general psychiatric issues. Patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders can be treated on most units. Fuller Hospital also provides a less intensive Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) to patients with psychiatric and co‑occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.

The Social Worker is an important member of the Fuller Hospital's inpatient multidisciplinary treatment team. This is a Full Time, 40 hour per week position, on Fuller Hospital's Developmental Disabilities Unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive range of social work services to a variety of patients in an inpatient/partial hospital setting
• Act as the primary contact with external providers and actively participate in each assigned patient’s treatment plan
• Be the primary individual responsible for patient discharge and aftercare planning

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, counseling, or other human services related field.
• Required LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, or LHMC (OR eligibility to receive one of these licensures in the future)
• Prior Hospital social worker experience is preferred
• Experience and/or passion for working with a development disability patient population is strongly preferred
