Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist at Spaulding Rehabilitation Cape Cod on a full-time, 40-hour work week (Tuesday - Saturday). The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and related disorders.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and Massachusetts licensure; CCC-SLP is preferred. Prior hospital experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Massachusetts License for Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Experience 0-1 year preferred; acute hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Implement treatment plans using various techniques and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress; adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about disorders and communication strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
