Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) with a hiring incentive up to $26,000. The minimum rate starts at $41.41 per hour, with higher rates for experienced staff and up to $7 per hour in shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends.

This role will support Magnet-principled care and high-quality patient outcomes at Geisinger Wyoming Valley. Position details include 40 hours weekly, night shifts, and a requirement for RN licensure in Pennsylvania plus a Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care along with direct supervision of assigned personnel.
• Conducts performance appraisals, monitors absenteeism, and assists with staffing.
• Communicates pertinent patient care information to appropriate personnel.
• Participates in nursing policy development and unit-level quality initiatives.
• Ensures staff meet regulatory requirements and proper documentation is maintained.
• Supports Magnet principles and promotes evidence-based practice.
