Carle Health is seeking an RN Supervisor to support the Nurse Manager in the administrative duties of an inpatient unit. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with the healthcare team, and maintaining nursing standards to ensure quality patient outcomes.

In addition to coordination, the supervisor may provide direct patient care when needed. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of inpatient RN experience, UNL or Charge nurse exposure preferred, and active Illinois RN licensure with BLS

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois (IDFPR).
• BLS within 30 days - AHA.
• National Nursing Certification within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily nursing and staffing on the inpatient unit.
• Resolve work-related issues and support the manager on complex cases.
• Provide competent patient and family care and ensure standards of care.
• Assist in quality improvement initiatives and audits as needed.
• Ensure staff training and competency; support accreditation processes.
