• Education: HS Diploma/GED; Associate's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care to assist the healthcare team.
• Performs initial assessment on patient admission and develops a plan of care.
• Implements plan of care and nursing interventions; modifies as needed.
• Takes responsibility for patient and employee safety and reports safety hazards.
• Communicates with others to resolve issues and provides constructive feedback for colleagues.
• Maintains departmental competencies and seeks learning opportunities as needed.
• Performs hourly rounding on patients and supports internal and external customers.
